Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul berbasis multirepresentasi yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan kelancaran prosedural matematis siswa SMP serta menjelaskan keterpakaian modul dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan modul 4D. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIC SMP Negeri 7 Singkawang yang berjumlah 29 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) bentuk modul berbasis multirepresentasi yang dikembangkan dalam materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat memuat kegiatan mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, dan mengomunikasikan, dengan representasi verbal, visual dan simbolik; (2) keterpakaian modul berbasis multirepresentasi dalam pembelajaran matematika, dilihat dari (a) keterlaksanaan modul berbasis multirepresentasi yang terlaksana dengan baik, (b) peningkatan nilai siswa dengan perbedaan rerata sebesar 43,1 dan mencapai ketuntasan belajar, (c) respon siswa yang sangat tinggi terhadap modul berbasis multirepresentasi secara keseluruahan, materi yang disajikan dapat dipahami dengan baik, penyajian isi modul terespon dengan baik, bahasa yang digunakan terbaca dengan baik. Kata kunci: Multirepresentasi, Pemahaman Konseptual, Kelancaran Prosedural.   Abstract: This research aims to develop modules based multirepresentation to improve conceptual understanding and procedures fluency students' mathematical on addition and subtraction of integers material on Junior High School as well as to explain modules based multirepresentation application in mathematics learning process. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with 4D model. Subjects in this development research are grade VIIC students of SMP Negeri 7 Singkawang in total 29 students. The result showed that: (1) Modules form containing the activities observe, question, reason, try and communicate, which is presented using representations of verbal, visual and symbolic; (2) Modules based multirepresentation applicationin mathematics, seen from (a) Modules based multirepresentation implementationin mathematics learning carried out well, (b) The increasement of students’ score  with a mean difference of 43.1 who achieve learning’ completeness, and (c) the response of students with a very high for the module as a whole, the material presented can be understoodwell, the module content responded well, language used in the module read properly.   Keywords: Multirepresentasi, Conceptual Understanding, Procedural Fluency
