Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan minat siswa kelas X MIPA 2 SMAN 7 Pontianak dalam pembelajaran seni tari dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis, berbentuk kualitatif. Teknik dan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, angket dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus dengan 3 pengembangan talking stick yang berbeda disesuaikan untuk materi praktik tari dari proses belajar gerak dasar, mengeksplorasi gerak, mengkomposisikan tarian, hingga presentasi. Setelah semua siklus dilaksanakan siswa tampak antusias dan bersemangat saat mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil observasi awal pra siklus minat siswa sebesar 9,37% sedangkan setelah dilakukan ketiga siklus, minat siswa pada pertemuan hasil sebesar 90,63 %. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni tari setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick meningkat 81,26% dari observasi awal yang dilakukan. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran  talking stick, minat siswa Abstract: The purpose of this research is to increase the interest of students in class X MIPA 2 SMAN 7 Pontianak in the art learning of dance by using a talking stick model of learning. The research methods that researchers use in this research is a descriptive analysis, form qualitative. Techniques and tools of data collection using interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation studies. This research was conducted as many 3 cycles  as 3 development with different talking stick adapted for material dance practice of the process of learning the basic movements, exploring movement, compose dances, to the presentation. After all cycles carried students were enthusiastic and excited when the participating in learning. The results of preliminary observations pre-cycle student interest by 9.37%, while after the third cycle, and students' interest in the results meeting 90.63%. The conclusion of this research is the students' interest towards learning dance after using talking stick model of learning the increased 81.26% from the beginning perform observation.
