Abstract

AbstractThis willingness to research to dig back Arts Otar-Otar, and to explore the process of historical development of the Otar-Otar became performance art, due to lack of documentation against Otar-Otar. The purpose of this research is to 1. Describe the history of performance art silat Otar-Otar 1992-2015 in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 2. Describe the development of a form of martial arts performing arts specialties Otar-Otar in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 3. Describe the draft implementation from performing arts Otar-Otar of Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. The theory used in this research analysis is a theory about the dance, dance history, cultural anthropology, traditional dance, pencak silat, performing arts. This research using the method of analysis of history. This form of research is qualitative. The research approach using the approach of etnokoreologi. The data source in this research in the form of the results of the interview against the speaker related to and find out about the development historical of the performing arts Otar-Otar In Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview and documentation. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research to  describe the function of Dukun dance Banyadu Dayak tribe, in Teriak sub-district. The problem of this research were how the function of Dukun dance Banyadu Dayak tribe, in Teriak sub-district. How to desaign the contribution of research results the function of Dukun dance Banyadu Dayak tribe, in Teriak sub-district. The method used in this research was descriptive method, with qualitative form and uses an anthropological approach. The source of data in this research was Sapon and Anel. The data in this research were, the results of interfiws and observations in the form of sound recordings, photographs and videos. the data collection techniques in this research were the form of observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Validity check of data in the form of extention of observation and triangulation. The data analysis techniques use interactive data analysis, wich is divided into four stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and power verification. The results of this research were expressive communication functions, ritual communication functions, ritual functions, and the results of this research were expected to be contribution in dance learning for cultural arts subjects and skills junior high school in the 2013 curiculum.Keywords: Dayak Banyadu in Bengkayang regency, The function of Dukun dance.

Performing Arts Education Study Program. Department of Language and Arts Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Pontianak Tanjungpura University. Advisor I Ismunandar, S.H., S.Sn., M.Pd., And Advisor II Asfar Munir, M.Pd. This research is motivated by the writer's interest as a choreographer of the uniqueness of the lamp cannon lamp which is one of the popular historical items in the Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura in Ketapang Regency and then elevates it to an arable dance work. The purpose of this study is to re-introduce a unique event from the sound of the cannon that is turned on when welcoming the holy month of Ramadan is in the Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura that is able to turn off the lamp in the vicinity of the ketapang area affected by the sound bias from the cannon. The method used is the method of exploration, analysis and evaluation. Research data is the result of observation and interviews. The type of dance set is a dramatic dance type with a pattern of new dance creation, because the writer as a choreographer presents dynamics, conflict, tension, moral values, and others. The framework of the dish is divided into scenes by presenting five acts, namely the daily life of the Ketapang community, the custom of turning on the cannon to go out the lamp and when the coming of the holy month of Ramadan. The theme of this dance work is literary because it takes some of the impression from a series of events. The analysis of dance works starts from ideas / concepts, frameworks, the selection of dancers, the selection of composers and musicians, the operatives used, as well as choosing what instruments are used to support the dance work. Keywords: Meram Padam Pelita(Tradition)

Abstract

AbstractThe research is based on the desire of researcher to analyze the motion contained in Gong Gamal Dance of Sawe Dayak Tribe. The purpose of this research is to describe the structure of Gong Gamal Dance movement with pictures to be understood more clearly. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative form and using ethnocoreology approach, with data source in the form of Gong Gamal Dance which is exhibited by resource persons and artists of Gong Gamal Dance namely Lukas Sadarung, Robertus apon, and Lusia Siti who know about the movement of Gong Gamal Dance in Sekadau Hulu Subdistrict of Sekadau Regency. The research data in the form of movement structure of Gong Gamal Dance, which is related of the art in the dance perfomance which are the beginning, the contents, and the end. Data collection techiques are observation techniques. Technique examination of data validity in the form of extension technique of observation and technique of triangulation. The reult of research are: 1) Analysis of movement structure of Gong Gamal Dance with two motion variation where one variance is divided into two, male and female motion is motion 1 a, motion 1 b, motion 2 a, and 2 b are analyzed based on motion motifs, motion phrases, motion sentences, and clusters of motion. 2) Gong Dynasty Gamal Dance Notation. 3) Design of research results with curriculum applicable asteaching mterials Art and Cultural Arts (dance) with learning implementation plan (RPP) in high school students.Keywords: Motion Structure, Gong Gamal Dance, Dayak Sawe.

Abstract

  Abstrak:Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi untuk menggali makna simbol busana tari soongpak Dayak Kayaan Medalaam di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu Kalimantan Barat. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori mengenai makna, simbol, busana tari,motif, bentuk, dan warna.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik penguji keabsahan data adalah menggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian makna simbol busana tari Soongpak Dayak Kayaan Medalaam di Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu Kalimantan Barat adalah bahwa didalam busana tari Soongpak terdapat motif bunga yang dimana motif bunga tersebut berasal dari bunga tubun situn yang merupakan sebuah bunga yang tumbuh dihutan pedalaman Kayaan Medalaam. Selain itu, terdapat motif anjing dan naga yang juga menjadi ciri khas dari suku Dayak kayaan Medalaam.  Hasil penelitian ini dapat memperkenalkan busana tradisi suku Dayak Kayaan Medalaam juga digunakan untuk tari Soongpak dan cara penggunaan busana tersebut. Kata Kunci : makna simbol, busana tari soongpak, dayak kayaan Abstract: This research is motivated to explore the meaning of the symbol of fashion dance Dayak soongpak Kayaan Medalaam in Kapuas Hulu in West Kalimantan. The theory used in this research is the theory about the meaning, symbols, fashion dance, patterns, shapes, and colors. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Forms of research in this study is qualitative. The approach used is phenomenological approach. Data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation. Mechanical testing the validity of the data is to use an extension observation and triangulation of sources. The results of the study the meaning of the symbol of fashion dance Dayak Soongpak Kayaan Medalaam in Kapuas Hulu in West Kalimantan is that there Soongpak dance fashion florals where the flower motif derived from flowers Tubun Situn which is a flower that grows in the forest hinterland Kayaan Medalaam. In addition, there is a dog and dragon motif which is also a characteristic of the Dayak tribe Medalaam wealth. The results of this research can introduce clothing tradition of Dayak Kayaan Medalaam Soongpak also used to dance and how to use these clothes. Keywords: meaning of symbols, fashion dance Soongpak, dayak kayaan

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis makna desain lantai tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan pada masyarakat Pesaguan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data diisimpulkan bahwa Desain lantai Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan memiliki makna mulai dari posisi, perpindahan penari serta arah hadap penarinya telah memiliki aturan dan memiliki makna dalam kehidupan masyarakat Dayak Pesaguan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan dipelajaran Seni Budaya SMA kelas VIII semester I serta dapat menjadi referensi bagi penelitian lanjutan mengenai Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan.   Kata Kunci: Analisis Makna, Desain Lantai, Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan   Abstract: The purposes of this research are To describe floor design meaning Adat Dayak Pesaguan dance In Pesaguan Dayakness The study used descriptive method. Based on the research analysis can be concluded that floor design adat dayak Pesaguan dance have a purposes such as dancer position, movement and direction presence of dancer have been rule and purpose in the community life on Pesguan dayakness. Abstract

Abstrak : Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah hilangnya salah satu kesenian yang ada di keraton Kadriyah yaitu tari Keriang Bandong. Tujuan yang dicapai adalah merevitalisasi tari Keriang Bandong di Keraton Kadriyah Kota Pontianak Kalimantan Barat agar dapat hidup kembali dikalangan masyarakat lingkungan keraton. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Sosiologi. Sumber data menggunakan data primer. Data penelitian berupa observasi, komunikasi langsung dan studi dokumentasi tari Keriang Bandong di Keraton Kadriyah Kota Pontianak sesuai dengan masalah yang dipaparkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah upaya yang dilakukan dalam merevitalisasi tari Keriang Bandong yaitu pertemuan dengan narasumber yang merupakan penari dan pemusik kesenian Keriang Bandong di Keraton Kadriyah Kota Pontianak, melakukan latihan bersama penari dan pemusik seperti pada tahun 1950-1980, memaparkan bentuk sajian tari Keriang Bandong, menampilkan kembali tari Keriang Bandong dari mulai penari masuk ke pentas, hingga keluar pentas dengan menggunakan musik iringan, properti dan kostum tari Keriang Bandong. Kata Kunci : Revitalisasi, Tari Keriang Bandong. Abstract : The background of this research is lost of Keriang Bandong dance in Kadriyah Palace Pontianak City West Borneo. The purpose to reach is do the revitalize Keriang Bandong dance Pontianak City West Borneo. The method of this research is using descriptive method. The format of this research is qualitative. The approach of this research is sociology. The data of this research are the result of observation, interview, documentation and from the note book about Keriang Bandong dance. The result of this research is the efforts made in revitalize Keriang Bandong dance that is met with the speakers who are dancer and musician from Keriang Bandong in Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak City, do the exercise with the dancer and musician like in 1985. Dissect the format of the course, showing again Keriang Bandong dance from the dancer entering the stage, until getting out of the stage using accompaniment music, property and Keriang Bandong dance costume. Abstract

Abstract?Dara Anta choreograph inspired by the legend of Ketungau Hilir?s people of Sintang District. Legend is a story that is considered true, the story is related to historical figures, it has been spiced with magic, wonders, and special features. The legend of Dara Anta is a tragedy that happened in the past, still a story until now among the peoples of Ketungau Hilir, when a woman named Dara Anta became a stone due to anger because of her husband?s betrayal. This phenomenom turns out to be the basic idea in creating "Dara Anta" choreograph which in a dance-theater form or a dance with story. Dara Anta choreograph applies and goes through some methods in its making-process such as exploration, processing, application, evaluation, and revision. This performance brings out an interesting aesthetic from the dance and music, and it becomes not just a dance show, but its music is as well attractive. Apart from that, the choreograph combines uniqueness of Dayak traditional dance movements and Dayak creations. This is not just an entertaining performance, but it consists innovation in developing traditional dance, educational aspect and as well morality message.? Keyword: Dance Analyzing, Dara Anta, Legend, Method and Creational Process

Abstract

 AbstractThis research was aimed to describe, give the comprehension and knowledge about the function of performing and study implementation of Jepin Tali Bintang in Kubu Raya. This research used qualitative descriptive method. Anthropology also was used in this research. The research data was the function of Jepin Tali Bintang dance performance to the society of Kalimas village, Kubu Raya regency. The informants in the observation in this research were Juhermi Thair, Muhammad Yusuf Dahyani, and Jhohor Yahya). The technique of data collection were observation, interview, and documentation. The tool of data collections are the interview sheets, record book, interview guidance, and a phone camera. Based on the data analysis, it could be concluded that Jepin Tali Bintang dance in Kubu Raya had the functions in human life. They are as social function, entertainment, and aesthetical performance. The result of this research that was expected to be implemented on Cultures and Arts lesson in the first semester of the tenth grade. Keywords: Dance functions, Jepin Tali Bintang dance.

 AbstractThe background of this research is to record the accompaniment of Tatung parade of Tionghoa and Dayak tribe, especially in Cap Go Meh ceremony in Singkawang city. Descriptive reaserch method and musical approach is used in this reasearch. The data is analyzed in qualitative. The interviewees that take part in the data is Eko Ladan, Simson Mihai, Eddyhlius sean, Chie Jun Fo and some artists who take part actively in accompiment of Tatung parade.
