Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the extent to which the cooperative learning assisted teaching props to improve student learning outcomes and student Learning activities in the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 4 Galing. The method used in this research is the method of classroom action research with data collection techniques such as observation and tests. The results showed an increase in result and learning activities. Learning activities of students in the second cycle by 66, 1 % has increased by 9.7 % from the first cycle by 56, 4 %. A total of 20 students or 58 % of the 31 students have finished with an average value of 66, 3. Quantity completeness and the average value of the learning outcomes of students compatible with indicator research meets the learning outcomes of students said to increase when reaching the KKM by 65 or more. It can be concluded that through cooperative learning assisted teaching props on material set may improve outcomes and student learning activities in the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 4 Galing. Keywords: cooperative, props, activities, learning outcomes Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana model pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Galing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil dan aktifitas belajar. Aktifitas belajar siswa pada siklus kedua sebesar 66, 1 % telah mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,7 % dari siklus pertama sebesar 56, 4%. Sebanyak 20 siswa atau sebesar 58% dari 31 siswa telah tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 66, 3. Jumlah ketuntasan dan nilai rata-rata tersebut memenuhi indikator penelitian yaitu hasil belajar siswa dikatakan meningkat apabila mencapai nilai KKM sebesar 65 atau lebih. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pembelejaran kooperatif berbantuan alat peraga pada materi himpunan bagian dapat meningkatkan hasil dan aktifitas belajar siswa di kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Galing.
