Abstract

Arenga  is one of the strategic commodities that has to be developed, this plant has high economic value and  well known  to most Indonesian.  In Ambesia village,  Arenga sap is used by combining with other materials and processed traditionally, resulting  to a typical snack and commonly called Tapo Sugar. This study aimed to develop a marketing strategy for Tapo sugar product by identifying the internal and external factors that affect marketing of sugar tapo and also analyze alternative strategy for marketing tapo Sugar from Ambesia village. Results obtained with a coordinates analysis that the alternative strategy is in quadrant I, which indicates that the right strategy is the strategy of SO (Strength-Opportunity) called also an aggressive strategy, namely (i) improve the quality of the workforce through training effort that able to encourage local communities to create job, (ii) to maximize the utilization of raw material which is adequate in the village, (iii) maintain the authentic flavor of Tapo suger for attracting agro-tourism and market at national level, (iv) innovate new flavors to become an agro competitive product

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to look at the effectiveness of cooperative learning using the representation of moral language on the material arithmetic operations of integers. The method used in this study is an experimental method with an improper form of experimentation. The method used in this study is an experimental method with an improper form of experimentation. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A consisting of 29 students. Data collection tools used were written tests in the form of essays and direct observation. Based on data analysis, it is known that the implementation of learning belongs to the good category, the activities of students in the learning activities are quite active, and the completeness of student learning outcomes in learning is incomplete classically.The contributing factors are because the researcher cannot grasp the class, the activity possessed by students is low and the lack of understanding of integer arithmetic operations. So that cooperative learning using moral language representations is less effective in integer arithmetic operations. Keywords: Effectiveness, Cooperative Learning, Integer Count Operations

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out describing students' mistakes in solving the algebraic arithmetic operations in class VIII of SMPN 14 Pontianak. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data collected using tests, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this research were students of class VIII SMPN 14 Pontianak. The test results show that the mistakes made by students include concept errors, principle errors and careless mistakes. Concept errors include students wrong in adding up algebraic forms because they add up different terms. Principle errors include students using associative, distributive and operating positive and negative integers. Carelessness errors include students writing wrong signs, writing errors in problem solving and do not simplify the answers to the right form. Keywords: Algebraic Arithmetic Operations Students Mistakes,

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to know the influence of the Realistic Mathematic Education approach on student learning outcomes in algebraic operating material in VII the grade of SMP Pancasila Sungai Kakap. The method is used in this research is an experimental the one shot case study. For looked at the consistency of learning outcomes, so after two week later would be given delayed-test. From the result of the research obtained the average student learning outcomes on the posttest is 77.25 and the average student learning outcomes on the delayed test is 72.05. Based on the analysis result by using t test the average one sample is obtained that t count (3,89) > t table (2,09) so, there was a significant differences between the average value of students at posttest and delayed test. With the differences in the results of posttest and delayed test then there is inconsistency between the value of posttest and delayed test. It is means that the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education approach to in algebraic operating material does not influence of on students learning outcomes. Keywords: Influence, Realistic Mathematic Education, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran mind map terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design . Dari hasil analisis data posttest menggunakan uji t, diperoleh harga thitung = 0,91 selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan harga ttabel dengan df = 30-1 = 29 dan dengan taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 diperoleh ttabel = 2,04523. Ternyata thitung ≤ ttabel atau – 0,91 < 2,04523 artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang di beri perlakuan menggunakan metode ekspositori dan metode mind map. Hasil perhitungan harga effect size adalah 0,18. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan metode mind map tidak memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci : Mind Map, Sistem Persamaan linear dua variabel Abstract: the purpose of this study was to describe the influence of an implementation mind mapping method on learning outcomes in material systems of linear equations two variables at grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Ambawang. The methodology was quasi-experimental research design with Non-equivalent Control Group. The results of data analysis were the t test using posttest obtained the value of t-count = 0.91 which was compared to the value of t-table with df = 30-1 = 29 and with a significant level of (α) = 0.05 obtained t-table =2.04523. It was found that t-count ≤ t-table or – 0.91 < 2.04523, which means there is no difference on student learning outcomes whether the treatment using ekspository method or mind mapping method. The calculation result of effect size value was 0.18. Then it could be inferred that mindmapping method did not give significant effect on the learning outcomes of students. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know and describe the effeectiveness implementation of cooperative type Team Games Tournament in Trigonometry learning at SMA N 08 Pontianak. The research method used in this study was pre-experimental with a one shot case study design. The aspects used to determine the effectiveness of the team games tournament model were the activities of students, the application of teachers in managing learning, and student learning outcomes. The data collection tool used was a test of student learning outcomes, which contains 5 essay questions, observation sheets the process of implementing teachers in the management of learning, observation sheets of student activities, research data analyzed descriptively. It was obtained that the activities of the students were classified as quite active at 70%. the teacher's implementation process in managing learning is very good, namely 3,635. Classical student mastery learning  was not fulfilled, there were 27 students or 77% of student who achieve the minimum completeness scores. Learning by using the team games tournament model on trigonometry learning in Pontianak 8 High School is said to be ineffective. Keywords: Application,  Cooperative Team Games Tournament Model, Trigonometry Learning

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Matematika Materi Pecahan Bentuk Aljabar di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 29 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, hasil wawancara, dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan : siswa melakukan kesalahan konsep, kesalahan prinsip, dan kesalahan kecerobohan. Yang menjadi faktor penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan adalah siswa tidak dapat membedakan suku sejenis dan tidak sejenis, siswa tidak dapat menyamakan penyebut dengan menggunakan KPK, serta siswa kurang teliti dalam mengerjakan soal.   Kata kunci : Analisis Kesalahan, Pecahan Bentuk Aljabar This study aims to determine the types of errors of students in Solving Mathematical Problems Fractional Algebraic form of matter in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak in West Kalimantan. The method used is descriptive research with case study research form. Subjects in the study were 29 students. Based on the results of data analysis, interviews, and discussion, it can be concluded: students perform misconceptions, false beliefs, and errors of carelessness. Which become factors causing students to make mistakes is that students can not distinguish between similar and dissimilar parts, students can not equate the denominator by using the commission, as well as students are less rigorous in work on the problems.   Keywords: Error Analysis, Fractional Algebraic Form

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the application of Cooperative Integrative Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning models in class VII social arithmetic material at SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. The study was reviewed from three aspects, including: the implementation of the syntax of learning, learning activities of students, and learning outcomes of students. The research method used is an experimental method, with a pre-experimental design. The research subjects were grade VII students. Based on data analysis that reviews three aspects, the results are (1) the application of learning syntax is categorized very well with 3.53. (2) the learning activities of students are included in the active criteria that is equal to 73.68% (3) students' learning outcomes classically there are 27 students which is about 79.41% who achieve minimal completeness. The conclusion of this study proves that the Cooperative Integrative Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model is effectively applied to social arithmetic material class VII in SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. Keywords: Cooperative learning model, CIRC type, and social arithmetic

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel dan penyebab kesalahannya di kelas VIII  di SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 siswa kelas VIII E yang dipilih berdasarkan jumlah kesalahan terbanyak. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan ialah tes diagnostik berbentuk essay dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan hasil wawancara, diperoleh informasi bahwa siswa melakukan kesalahan menuliskan kembali simbol-simbol matematika, kesalahan memahami soal, kesalahan menggunakan metode penyelesaian, kesalahan transformasi, kesalahan dalam perhitungan dan kesalahan menuliskan jawaban akhir. Penyebab kesalahan-kesalahan tersebut adalah siswa tidak memahami konsep dan prinsip SPLDV, siswa tidak menguasai operasi bentuk aljabar serta kurang teliti. Kata kunci: Kesalahan Siswa, Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel Abstract : This research aimed to describe the faults of students in solving the linear equation systems of two variables problem and the causes of it?s faults in class VIII SMP VI Pontianak. The research method that used were descriptive method with study case form. Subject in this research were 4 students in class VIII E which chosen based on who has made the most faults. The instruments that used were diagnostic test with essay form and interview guide. Based on the results of data analysis and interview, were obtained information that the students made a faults in rewriting mathematics symbols, faults in understanding the issues, faults in using the completion method, faults in transformation, faults in calculations, and faults in writing the final answer. The causes of faults were the students did not understand the concepts and postulates in linear equation systems of two variables, students did not master the operations of algebra form, and less conscientious.
