<![CDATA[The aim of this research was to study the effect of urea and SP-36 doses on the growth and production of maize (Zea mays L.). This research is a factorial study using a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of two factors with three replications. The first factor is the dose of urea (N) consisting of: 100 kg / ha; 200 kg / ha; 300 kg / ha. The second factor is SP-36 fertilizer, consisting of: 50 kg / ha; 100 kg / ha; 150 kg / ha. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with the smallest significant difference test (LSD) at 5% level if the results were significant. The results showed that there was an interaction between the dose of urea and SP-36 on the growth and production of maize. Urea doses of 200 kg / ha and 150 kg / ha produced the highest plant height (182.606 cm), the highest number of leaves (9,550 pieces) and the highest leaf area (120,456 cm2). Production of ear length, ear weight, 1000 seeds weight and dry seed weight per plant, the highest yields were achieved at the combination of 200 kg / ha or 3.030 grams of urea fertilizer per plant and 100 kg / ha or 1.515 grams per plant resulted in the highest ear length (19,980 cm). ), the largest ear weight (144,270 grams), the highest weight of 1000 seeds (246,743 grams), the highest dry seed weight (93,856 grams).Penelitian bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh dosis pupuk Urea dan SP-36 terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian faktorial menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari dua faktor dengan tiga kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk Urea (N) terdiri dari: 100 kg/ha; 200 kg/ha; 300 kg/ha. Faktor kedua adalah pupuk SP-36, terdiri dari: 50 kg/ha; 100 kg/ha; 150 kg/ha. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varian dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT) taraf 5% apabila hasil signifikan. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi dosis pupuk Urea dan SP-36 terhadap pertumbuhandan produksi tanaman jagung. Dosis pupuk Urea 200 kg/ha dan 150 kg/ha menghasilkan tinggi tanaman tertinggi (182.606 cm), jumlah daun terbanyak (9.550 helai) dan luas daun tertinggi (120.456 cm2).
