Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Word Search Puzzle Pada Kelas X IIS SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan, hasil belajar dan respon siswa terhadap pengembangan media pembelajarn Word Search Puzzle pada kelas X IIS SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and development/R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D yang memiliki empat tahap yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: (1) Kelayakan oleh ahli materi dengan rata-rata presentase 87,85% berkategori “sangat layak”, hasil penilaian oleh ahli media dengan rata-rata presentase 83,33 berkategori “sangat layak” dan hasil penilaian oleh ahli evaluasi dengan rata-rata presentase 86,56% berkategori “sangat layak”. (2) Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 10% menjadi 100% dari penilaian yang dilakukan berupa Pretest dan Posttet. (3) Respon siswa dengan rata-rata presentase yang diperoleh adalah 93,33% berkategori “sangat layak”. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran Word Search Puzzle sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk kelas X IIS SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Word Search Puzzle, hasil belajar Abstract This study aims to describe the feasibility, learning outcomes and students responses of Word Search Puzzle learning media in Social X class of SMAN 16 Surabaya 2017/2018 academic year. This research is a type of learning media development research using the development research methods ( Research and development / R & D ) with a 4-D development model that has four stages, namely defining, designing, developing and distributing. Based on the results of the research, it is known that: (1) The assessment results by material experts with an average percentage of 87.85% are categorized as "very feasible", the results of the assessment by media experts with an average percentage of 83.33 are categorized as "very feasible" and the results of evaluation by evaluation experts with an average percentage of 86 , 56% was categorized as "very feasible". (2) Student learning outcomes increase from 10% to 100% of the assessment carried out in the from Pretest and Posttest. (3) Response of students with an average percentage obtained 93,33% in the category of "very feasible". Thus, the development of Word Search Puzzle learning media is very feasible to be used as a learning media for X Social class SMA Negeri 16 Surabaya.
