Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of authentic assessments based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the Medan Elementary School. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The method used is 2, namely descriptive and evaluative methods. The results showed that the average teacher competency level in implementing HOTS-based authentic assessments in Medan city elementary school was 74.81% in the Enough category. Thus, the implementation of HOTS-based authentic assessments mandated by the 2013 curriculum can be realized effectively in the SD city of Medan in the future.Keywords: Authentic Assessment, High Order Thinking Skills ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas implementasi penilaian autentik berbasis High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) di Sekolah Dasar kota Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan ada 2, yaitu metode deskriptif dan evaluatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat kompetensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan penilaian autentik berbasis HOTS di SD kota Medan adalah 74,81% dengan kategori Cukup. Dengan demikian, implementasi penilaian autentik berbasis HOTS yang diamanatkan kurikulum 2013 dapat terealisasi secara efektif di SD kota Medan pada masa yang akan datang. Kata Kunci: Penilaian Autentik, High Order Thinking Skills
