This research aims to improve student body ability by using peer Tutor Method for dance lesson in class X Dance 2 SMKN 7 Padang. This type of research uses classroom action research. This research uses the instrument in the form of observation sheets of students in the learning process, while to find out the improvement of the students used evaluation/test sheet. The results of this study showed that the method of peer tutor can improve the ability of the student's body. Percentage of students ' positive study on the cycle I of the 1st meeting is 32%, at the 2nd meeting of 40% and at the 3rd meeting of 56%, while the students ' negative learning activity in the cycle I of the 1st meeting is 68%, at the 2nd meeting of the 60% and at the 3rd meeting is 44%. After the refurbishment, the percentage of positive learning activity was increased to 76% at the first meeting and 88% at the second meeting while the negative learning activity declined to 24% at the first meeting and 12% at the second meeting. The use of the peer tutor method in class X Tari 2 also affects the average value of students ' learning outcomes. Can be seen from the percentage of student learning submission 44% in cycle I increased to 92% in cycle II. The average student learning results also increased from 55.2 to 78.8. So by using the method of peer tutor can improve the efficacy of the student's body class X Tari 2 SMKN 7 Padang.        Keywords: exercise, peer tutor methods, dance Learning
