<![CDATA[Artikel ini membahas struktur yang membangun novel “Sang Pemimpi†and “Mengejar-ngejar Mimpi†dan hubungan intertekstual yang terjadi antara kedua novel tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik tinjauan pustaka. Sumber data adalah dua novel yaitu novel “Sang Pemimpi†karya Andrea Hirata dan “Mengejar-ngejar Mimpiâ€Âkarya Dedi Padiku. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian adalah struktur yang membangun novel “Sang Pemimpiâ€Âdan “Mengejar-ngejar Mimpi†terdiri dari tema, alur, karakterisasi, dan karakterisasi, latar, perspektif penulis, dan mandat. Dari struktur kedua novel tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa ada hubungan intertekstual yang terjadi berdasarkan kesamaan kedua novel tersebut. Kesamaan yang paling menonjol adalah pada tema yang diangkat, keduanya memiliki tema yang sama dan presentasi yang sama dengan novel motivasi.Kata kunci: novel, intertekstualAbstractThis article discusses the structure that builds the novel “Sang Pemimpiâ€Âand “Mengejar-ngejar Mimpi†and the intertextual relationship that occurs between the two novels. The method used in this research is descriptive method with literature review techniques. The data sources are two novels namely the novel “Sang Pemimpi†by Andrea Hirata and “Mengejar-ngejar Mimpi†by Dedi Padiku. The results obtained from the research are the structure that builds the novel “Sang Pemimpi†and “Mengejar-ngejar Mimpiâ€Âconsists of themes, plot, characterization, and characterization, setting, author's perspective, and mandate. From the structure of the two novels it can be seen that there is an intertextual relationship that occurs based on the similarities of the two novels.
