PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI MODEL LEARNING CYCLE BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIOVISUAL

Abstract

Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA, yang meliputi keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VA SDN Purwoyoso 03 Semarang melalui model Learning Cycle berbantuan media Audiovisual. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang berlangsung dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterampilan guru pada siklus I memperoleh skor 24 dengan kriteria baik meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 31 dengan kriteria sangat baik. (2) aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 18,68 dengan kriteria cukup meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 26,31 dengan kriteria baik. (3) Hasil belajar siswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I 76.93% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 92.31%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model Learning Cycle berbantuan media Audiovisual dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA yang meliputi keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Sehingga sebaiknya guru menerapkan model Learning Cycle berbantuan media Audiovisual dalam pembelajaran IPA.The aim of the research was to increase the quality of science learning, which included teacher skills, studentsactivities, and students learning outcomes of grade VA SDN Purwoyoso 03, Semarang through learning Cyclemodel using audio visual media. The research used classrooom action research in two cycles. Data collectiontechniques used tests and nontest. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysistechniques. The results showed that: (1) Teacher skills in the first cycle scored 24 with good criteria. It increasedin the second cycle to 31 with very good criteria. (2) Students activity in first cycle got score 18.68 with enoughcriteria, increased in the second cycle became 26.31 with good criteria. (3) Students learning outcomes withclassical completeness in the first cycle scored 76.93%. It increased in the second cycle became 92.31%. Conclusionof the research was that the application of learning cycle model using audiovisual increased the quality of sciencelearning that included teacher skills, students activities and students, learning outcomes. Thus, the teacher wassuggested to apply the learning cycle model using audio visual media for science teaching.
