PENERAPAN METODE READ ALOUD DALAM MENUMBUHKAN MINAT BACA PADA KELOMPOK A DI PAUD AL-MUTHAHHIR

Abstract

This study aims to arouse children's reading interest because there has not been a penchant for reading and there are not many teachers who are literate about children's reading interests and are too focused on children's reading results because of the demands of parents who also want their children to be able to read without knowing the child is happy. or forced. So that they get used to reading books with pleasure without any element of coercion. Researchers tried to examine children's reading interests by using the Read Aloud method or reading books aloud by the teacher by selecting the right books according to their age. This study used a qualitative descriptive study, namely the data collected in the form of words or narratives and not in the form of numbers (Sudarwan, 2002). In collecting this data, the researcher made direct observations using interview, observation, and documentation study methods. The object of this research was 8 children. The data analysis used includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. The results of this study will describe how the Read Aloud method is applied to the reading interest of group A children in Kober Al-Muthahhir.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangkitkan minat membacadikarenakan belum munculnya kegemaran akan membaca dan belum banyak pengajar yang melek akan minat membaca anak, dan terlalu fokus pada hasil membaca anak karena tuntutan orang tua juga yang ingin anak-anaknya bisa membaca tanpa mengetahui anak tersebut merasa senang atau terpaksa.Agar mereka terbiasa membaca buku dengan rasa senang tanpa ada unsur paksaan. Peneliti mencoba meneliti minat baca anak dengan menggunakan metode Read Aloud atau membacakan buku secara nyaring oleh guru dengan pemilihan buku yang tepat sesuai usia mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatifyaitudata yang dikumpulkannya berupa kata-kata atau narasi dan bukan dalam bentuk angka-angka (Sudarwan, 2002). Dalam pengumpulan data ini, peneliti melakukan pengamatan langsung dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Objek penelitian ini berjumlah 8 anak. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan / verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini akan dideskripsikan bagaimana penerapan metode Read Aloudtersebut pada minat baca anakkelompok A di Kober Al-Muthahhir.
