Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh arus dan substrat terhadap pertumbuhan harian rumput laut jenis Euchema cotonii (K alvarezi) di perairan pantai desa Allumang, Kabupaten Alor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Daily Growth Rate/Laju pertumbuhan harian (%/hari). Hasil penelitian menemukan laju pertumbuhan harian pada stasiun (1) 6,150%; stasiun (2) 6,170%; stasiun (3) 6,130%, sehingga diperoleh rata-rata pertumbuhan harian rumput laut Euchema cotonii (K alvarezi) di perairan Desa Allumang 6,15%. Kecepatan arus 37,2 cm/s. dengan karaketristik substrat berpasir.   Abstract:  This study aims to determine the influence of currents and substrates on the daily growth of euchema cotonii (K alvarezi) seaweed in the coastal waters of Allumang village, Alor Regency. The method used in the study was daily growth rate (%/day). The results found a daily growth rate at (1) 6.150%; station (2) 6,170%; station (3) 6,130%, so obtained the average daily growth of seaweed Euchema cotonii (K alvarezi) in the waters of Allumang Village 6.15%.
