<![CDATA[ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Meningkatkan efektivitas mengajar guru IPS kelas VIII A MTs Negeri 02 Bombana melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. 2) Meningkatkan aktivitas belajar IPS pada siswa kelas VIII A MTs Negeri 02 Bombana melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. 3) Meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas VIII A MTs Negeri 02 Bombana melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan seluruh siswa kelas VIII A MTs Negeri 02 Bombana sebanyak 26 orang siswa. Data hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah efektifitas dan aktivitas yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi serta hasil belajar siswa yang diukur melalui tes siklus. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dengan kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Efektivitas mengajar guru pada siklus I mencapai 60% dan belum mencapai indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 100% dan telah mencapai indikator kinerja. 2) Aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 55% yang belum mencapai indikator kinerja, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 91% dan telah mencapai indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan. 3) Hasil belajar IPS siswa pada siklus I nilai rata-rata mencapai 67,19 sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata mencapai 84,53. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 31% atau 8 orang dari 26 siswa yang tuntas secara klasikal dan 69% atau 18 orang yang tidak tuntas secara klasikal dan pada siklus II hasil belajar IPS siswa mencapai 85% atau 22 orang dari 26 orang siswa yang tuntas hasil belajar secara klasikal dan 15% atau 4 orang yang tidak tuntas secara klasikal. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar, STAD ABSTRACT: This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. This study aims to: 1) Improve the teaching effectiveness of class VIII A social studies teachers at MTs Negeri 02 Bombana through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model. 2) Increase social studies learning activities in class VIII A students of MTs Negeri 02 Bombana through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model. 3) Improving social studies learning outcomes in class VIII A MTs Negeri 02 Bombana through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model. The subjects of this study were the teachers and all students of class VIII A MTs Negeri 02 Bombana as many as 26 students. The result data obtained from this study are the effectiveness and activities obtained from the observation sheet and student learning outcomes that are measured through cycle tests. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. From the results of data analysis obtained with the conclusion that: 1) The effectiveness of teaching teachers in the first cycle reached 60% and had not reached the predetermined performance indicators and in the second cycle increased to 100% and had reached the performance indicators. 2) Student learning activities in the first cycle reached 55% which had not reached the performance indicators, in the second cycle it increased to 91% and had reached the predetermined performance indicators. 3) Students' social studies learning outcomes in the first cycle the average score reached 67.19, while in the second cycle the average score reached 84.53. The increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 31% or 8 of the 26 students who completed classically and 69% or 18 students who did not complete classically and in the second cycle the social studies learning outcomes of students reached 85% or 22 of the 26 students who complete classical learning outcomes and 15% or 4 people who do not complete classically.  Keywords: Effectiveness, Activities, Learning Outcomes, STAD]]>
