Corn is an important food crop commodity after rice, therefore it is very important to improve genetic quality through a breeding program, namely by marriage (crossing). Selection and crossing are two methods that are commonly used to improve genetic quality to increase maize productivity. The research was carried out in Tobungan Village. district. Galis, Kab. Pakistan. This research was conducted from January to March 2018. Corn can grow well at an altitude of up to 1,200 meters above sea level. The land area used is 20X30m, and 240 seeds will be planted. The design of this study used a randomized block design (RAK) with four replications four times the treatment. The basis for grouping is because on land the condition of water availability is different from one place to another. The results of the analysis of variance (attachment ) on plant height and number of leaf bv showed no significant difference. This shows that both the size of the seeds and the origin of the seeds from inbreeding and free pollination did not affect the vegetative size of the plants, while the size of the cobs from small and large seeds from inbreeding and free pollination werenot significantly different.
