<![CDATA[Abstract This paper deals with Ideology of Karonese Mantra reflected in process of Erpangir Ku Lau ritual. The main objective of this paper is to explore eight mantra found in process of Erpangir Ku Lau ritual and three interviewers who have followed Erpangir Ku Lau ritual. Religious means believe in the power of God. Then, kinship means caring and respect to families. Then, animism means believe to object on earth has own power. Then, dynamism means believe to ancestral spirits, ghost, and other spirits. Related to the reason why ideologies applied in mantra of Erpangir Ku Lau, the paper describes ideologies create culture.
