PENERAPAN KEGIATAN PEER TUTOR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DARING

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah penerapan kegiatan peer tutor dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa yang mengikuti matakuliah Profesi Kependidikan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) Rencana penerapan kegiatan peer tutor; (2) Instrumen tes hasil belajar mahasiswa; (3) Lembar Angket. Hasil penelitian yang meliputi hasil diskusi kelompok, hasil tes, dan hasil angket. Berdasarkan hasil tes secara klasikal sebesar mahasiswa telah mencapai ketuntasan, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa mahasiswa telah memahami materi yang telah dipelajari. Hasil angket respon yang sangat positif terhadap penerapan kegiatan “Peer Tutor” dalam pembelajaran daring. Penerapan kegiatan “peer tutor” dalam pembelajaran daring terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu peer, tutoring dan evaluation. Penerapan kegiatan “peer tutor” dalam pembelajaran daring dapat menumbuhkan sikap percaya diri dan peduli kepada teman, serta dapat mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa.Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe how peer tutor activities are implemented in online learning. This research is classified as quantitative descriptive research. This research was conducted on students who follow the education profession.Instruments used to collect data in this study, namely: (1) Plan for the application of peer tutor activities; (2) Instrument test results of student learning; (3) Angket sheet. The results of the study included the results of group discussions, test results, and questionnaire results. Based on the results of the test classically 77.8% of students have reached completion, it can be said that students have understood the material that has been studied. The results of a very positive response to the application of "Peer Tutor" activities in online learning.The application of "peer tutor" activities in online learning consists of three stages, namely peer, tutoring and evaluation. The application of "peer tutor" activities in online learning can foster a confident and caring attitude to friends, and can develop the ability to understand student concepts.
