<![CDATA[The research objective the role of the land office in the context of resolving land disputes through mediation at the land office of Tana Toraja. This research is empirical research. The results showed that the effectiveness of the role of the land office in resolving land disputes through mediation was carried out according to procedures and applicable laws and regulations. The inhibiting factors in resolving land disputes through mediation are the lack of mediators, people who are late to attend mediation and offices that are closed due to the covid-19 pandemic. The author's suggestion is that the Land Office of Tana Toraja carry out outreach to the public regarding the benefits of mediation for the parties. And the Land Office of Tana Toraja adds professional and qualified mediators in resolving various land cases. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis peran kantor pertanahan dalam rangka penyelesaian sengketa tanah secara mediasi di kantor pertanahan Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian empiris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Efektivitas peran kantor pertanahan dalam rangka penyelesaian sengketa tanah secara mediasi dilakukan sesuai prosedur dan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat dalam menyeleasaikan sengketa pertanahan melalui mediasi yaitu kurang mediator, masyarakat yang terlambat hadir dimediasi serta kantor yang ditutup karna pandemic covid-19. Saran penulis adalah Agar Kantor pertanahan Tana Toraja melaksanakan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat mengenai manfaat mediasi bagi para pihak. Dan Kantor Pertanahan Tana Toraja menambah tenaga mediator yang professional serta berkualitas dalam menyelesaikan berbagai kasus pertanahan.]]>
