<![CDATA[The aim of this research is analysis character building values that can be found in English textbook in Senior High School. This is a descriptive qualitative research which takes a document as the method of collecting data. The data of this research are reading texts and dialog in English textbook “Bahasa Inggris” for Grade X Senior High School that represent eighteen characters building values that was described by Kemendiknas 2010. The source of data is English textbook entitled “Bahasa Inggris” for grade X Senior High School. This research uses model of data analysis by Miles and Hubberman includes data reduction, data display and drawing data. While to get the validity of data analysis, the research uses multiple theories. The result shows that the book contains eighteen characters building that was described by Kemendiknas, and some other characters appear in the selected textbook such as gratitude, humble, confidence, cooperative, respect, healthy life style, courage and optimist.]]>
