PENANAMAN KARAKTER KEJUJURAN PADA ANAK MELALUI KOMIK FIKSI

AbstrakBangsa Indonesia mengalami salah satu masalah serius yang sampai sekarang masih sering terjadi dan sulit diatasi, yaitu kasus korupsi. Korupsi tejadi dikarenakan minimnya kesadaran manusia sekarang tentang sesuatu yang disebut kejujuran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya penanaman karakter kejujuran saat seseorang masih dalam usia anak. Dalam upaya membantu pendidikan kejujuran pada anak, penulis memutuskan untuk membuat sebuah cerita fiksi yang dikemas dalam bentuk buku komik yang berjudul “Satria Kejujuran”. Metode yang digunakan dalam berkarya meliputi media berkarya dan teknik berkarya. Media yang digunakan berupa bahan (kertas sket, kertas CTS, dan kertas ivory) dan alat (pensil 2B, karet penghapus, penggaris, Drawing pen, spidol, hardware berupa laptop, printer, scanner, flashdisk, serta software berupa aplikasi komputer adobe photoshop CS4 dan corel draw X5). Teknik yang diterapkan dibagi menjadi tiga tahap; (1) tahap persiapan meliputi pencarian ide, pengumpulan data, serta pembuatan sinopsis dan storyboard; (2) tahap berkarya meliputi pembuatan sket, penebalan kontur, scan gambar, pembersihan atau koresi, pewarnaan, pemberian teks, pengaturan lay out, dan cetak; (3) tahap penyelesaian meliputi pengemasan dan penyajian. Buku komik “Satria Kejujuran” yang dihasilkan dalam proyek studi ini menceritakan tentang seorang anak bernama Mamat dengan kisah kejujurannya. Cerita dibagi menjadi 3 chapter, “Mamat si Pembohong”, “Ujian Kejujuran Mamat”, dan “Buah Kejujuran Mamat”. Komik ini menyampaikan arti serta pengalaman kejujuran yang dialami sang tokoh utama kepada pembaca, agar bisa belajar dari kesalahan dan memperbaiki diri dalam hal kejujuran.___________________________________________________________________Abstract___________________________________________________________________The Indonesian people suffered one serious problem that is still common and difficult to overcome, namely corruption. In an effort to help the education of honesty in children, the authors decided to create a fictional story that is packaged in the form of a comic book titled "Satria Honesty". The method used in the work include media work and engineering work. Media used in the form of materials (paper sketch, paper CTS, and paper ivory) and tools (2B pencil, eraser, ruler, Drawing pens, markers, hardware such as laptops, printers, scanners, flash, and software in the form of a computer application Adobe Photoshop CS4 and corel draw X5). Techniques applied are divided into three stages; (1) The preparatory phase includes the search of ideas, data collection, and the making synopses and storyboards; (2) stage work includes the manufacture of a sketch, contour thickening, scanned images, cleaning or koresi, coloring, captioning, setting lay out, and print; (3) the stage of completion include the packaging and presentation. The comic book "Satria Honesty" generated in this study project tells the story of a boy named Milo with honesty story. The story is divided into three chapters, "Mamat liar", "Mamat Honesty Test" and "Reward of Mamat Honesty ". This comic convey the meaning and experience of honesty experienced by the main character to the reader, in order to learn from mistakes and improve ourselves in terms of honesty.
