Abstract

The Covid-19 global pandemic has resulted in huge impacts on various human activities, including learning and schooling. This article aims to describe the historical learning during the pandemic. To grasp the aforementioned issues, we employ phenomenology approach. Numeroues literature were reviewed. We also collected data through observation and documentation with descriptive analysis techniques. We took history learning in SMA Jati Agung Al-Qodiry as a case study. The results of this study pointed out that contextualization is needed as a response to the situation, especially in prepareing the lesson plan, content development, portfolio-based activities, and authentic assessment.
