Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVI-19) which occurred in 2020 has an impact on various aspects of human life, including the aspect of education. Learning activities that are initially face-to-face must be adapted to online learning. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the perceptions of parents who have school-age children facing the adaptation of new habits during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive study design involving 207 respondents who were spread throughout Indonesia. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling. The research was conducted in the range of May - June 2020. The instrument used in this study was a Likert scale questionnaire whose statement items were adopted and modified from the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07 / MENKES / 328/2020. Statement items consist of 20 items. Based on the analysis of the items of the parent's readiness statement, it was found that the average value of parents' readiness was 2.64, children's readiness was 2.30, and school readiness was 2.29. When viewed from the readiness item, it is still low. This research can be a reference material for stakeholders to consider the learning process for safe school-age children during the COVID-19 pandemic
