Islamic fundamentalism, with one of its mission to build an Islamic state Caliphate/khilafah) in a trans-national challenges for the existence of nation-state system that has been established. In This paper describes the concept of nation-states and Islamic fundamentalism and analysis associated with it. Islamic caliphate system to the point of this intersection, where the epistemological concept of caliphate and nation- states are the two things are contradictory.
