Abstract

Education becomes the right and obligation of every human being, including women. Through education, women can develop their autonomy in order to build their world. Gender equitable education in the perspective of ‘Athiyah is a manifestation of the development of educational concepts that can build self-reliance and democracy. Based on this, ‘ Athiyah views that women should also get the rights and perform its obligation to develop the self-reliance potency based on the historicity of the role of women (Muslim women) of all time.
