This research focuses on an old yellow book which has been very popular in the Indonesian Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). It is Uqud Al-Lujayn fi Huquq al-Zawjayn of Nawawi al-Banteni. As a book which dealts with the right and obligation of a couple in Islam, there are some illustrate women’s sexuality which can be discussed in four forms, namely self identity, sexual action, sexual behavior and sexual orientation. This research get a concluding remark that Nawawi’s view on women’s sexuality depend on his zeitgeist, so we need some attempts to reconstruct Nawawi’s view on women’s sexuality in Pesantren by rereading Islamic text.
