Abstract: The Influence of Team Characteristics and Personality on Work Motivation of Teachers of Civil Servants (PNS) of Vocational High Schools (SMK) Negeri Jakarta Timur I. This study aims to examine the effect of team characteristics and personality on work motivation at State Vocational High Schools (SMKN) in East Jakarta I. The data used in this study were obtained from questionnaire data. The population in this study were civil servant teachers in 7 State Vocational High Schools. The sample selection technique used is proportional sampling and obtained 170 teachers. The data analysis method in this research is data regression analysis. The results showed that simultaneously the characteristics of the team and personality had a significant effect on work motivation.
