<![CDATA[Abstract: The goal of this research is to determine the best formulation in listening learning using the STAD type cooperative model. This research employs research and development (R&D) that has been adapted to the field settings. The results demonstrated that learning utilizing the STAD type cooperative model was beneficial in listening learning. The effectiveness can be seen by the rise in student learning outcomes after each implementation. The average score of students in the first application was 61.53, 74.04 in the second application, and 83.65 in the third application. Based on these findings, it is possible to infer that the STAD cooperative model is an effective method for teaching listening skills. As a result, it is hoped that instructors and policymakers will attempt this alternative model in an effort to improve students' listening skills, particularly high school pupils (high school) Keywords: Listening, STAD type cooperative model, research and development Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari formulasi terbaik dalam pembelajaran menyimak melalui model kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang dimodifikasi menyesuaikan kondisi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menyimak. Kefektifan tersebut dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam setiap pemberlakuan. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada pemberlakuan I adalah 61,53, 74,04 pada pemberlakuan II, dan 83,65 pada pemberlakuan III. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model kooperatif tipe STAD efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menyimak. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan guru dan pengambil kebijakan perlu mencoba alternatif model tersebut sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak, khususnya siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA).
