<![CDATA[Pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam berlatih menulis secara ilmiah. Namun kenyataan yang terjadi sebagian besar mahasiswa masih terkendala dalam memilih topik dan mengembangkan tulisan secara utuh. Salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan ialah melatih kemampuan berpikir secara kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini ialah berupa hasil pengamatan terhadap proses pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi dengan menerapkan tiga indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang mencakup kelancaran, keluwesan, dan keaslian ide. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu mengembangkan tulisan teks eksposisi melalui tahapan berpikir kreatif. Hal tersebut terlihat dari tulisan yang dihasilkan oleh setiap kelompok melalui ide-ide baru mulai dari pemilihan tema, judul, hingga pengembangan tulisan teks eksposisi. Tema yang dipilih difokuskan pada kearifan lokal Sulawesi Selatan dengan tema makanan khas daerah, kearifan budaya, hingga pemaparan rumah adat Luwu.Kata kunci: pembelajaran menulis, berpikir kreatif, teks eksposisi Learning to write expository texts is one of the activities that can help students practice writing scientifically. However, the reality is that most students are still constrained in choosing a topic and developing their writing as a whole. One of the steps that can be taken is to train creative thinking skills. This study aims to describe students' creative thinking skills in writing exposition texts. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study is in the form of observations on the learning process of writing expository texts by applying three indicators of creative thinking skills which include fluency, flexibility, and originality of ideas. The results of the study revealed that students were able to develop expository text writing through the stages of creative thinking. This can be seen from the writings produced by each group through new ideas ranging from choosing themes, titles, to developing exposition texts. The theme chosen was focused on local wisdom of South Sulawesi with the theme of regional specialties, cultural wisdom, to the presentation of the Luwu traditional house.Keywords: learning writing, creative thinking, exposition text]]>
