Abstract

In the learning process, educators have very important positions and obligations, including designing learning in terms of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects of students. Teaching and learning activities are not just providing learning material in class, but a process to prepare students according to the goals achieved. Educators are educational milestones that can prepare students to dismantle social problems that are in the environment around students. There are so many global issues that exist and develop in society, such as poverty. Poverty is a condition that is closely related to the difficulties and shortcomings in achieving one's life needs. Poverty is a global issue that must be resolved immediately and a solution is sought. These problems can be taught through social studies subjects because in this subject students are expected to have a social attitude and spirit, based on identity and character in the community, especially as Indonesian people who have noble and noble personalities based on Pancasila.
