Abstract

Located on a hilly topography with a steep slope, highlighted the importance of settlement arrangement based on a landslide risk assessment in Girirejo village, Imogiri, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This study aims to map landslides risk, identify houses in the landslide risk zone, and provide recommendations for settlement arrangements. The research begins with observation, interviews, and focus group discussion. Disaster risk mapping and analysis were carried out through weighting method based on Perka BNPB No.2 of 2012 concerning General Guidelines for Disaster Risk Assessment and a formula with parameters of hazard, vulnerability, and capacity. Results showed the medium to a high-level of landslide risk was dominated by northern and eastern parts of Girirejo (21 families in red-zone, 23 families in yellow-zone), while western and southern regions had a low landslide risk level. This research also provided a formulation of settlements concept for medium and high-risk areas by considering landslides risk analysis study.

Abstract

The researchers made improvements by applying a scientific approach with the Problem Based Learning model and concrete media. This type of research is classroom action research. which consists of two cycles, each cycle carried out with one meeting. Each cycle consists of the planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were grade I students of SDN Pende 02. The data collection techniques used test and non-test techniques obtained from observations and documentation. The results of this study are the use of concrete media and problem based learning can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of addition and subtraction of numbers in grade I SDN Pende 02, Kersana District, Brebes Regency. In the first cycle of students who completed there were 14 students, the percentage of classical student learning completeness was 63.63%. In cycle II students who completed an increase of 20 students, students' reading completeness was 90.90%. So it can be concluded that student learning outcomes have increased and are said to be complete.

Abstract

Management of human resource development in the field of education related to the role of the Principal in an effort to develop the potential that exist in educators and educational personnel. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the role of Headmaster and the staff of educators and education at Kartodipuran elementary school number 21 Surakarta in an effort to explore the ability to support performance in working in the field of education. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interview technique and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the principal, educators and education at Kartodipuran elementary school number 21 Surakarta has conducted various training and education activities such as job rotation, understudy, coaching and counseling, conference, outdoor training, training, simulations, lecture, self-study.

Abstract

Kemuning Village is one of the areas with the highest potential for landslides in Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency. This service activity aims to help institutional strengthening of the Tangguh Disaster Village (Destana) in disaster planning at the village level in the context of increasing preparedness and disaster management of landslides. The activity was carried out in Kemuning Village with an implementation time of 1 month The research method through open interviews, field observations, document review, and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the disaster resilience assessment indicate that Kemuning Village is included in the category of Main Disaster Resilient Village. Based on the assessment analysis presents indicators of disaster management systems, disaster risk management, quality and basic access in the village is still lacking so it needs to be improved. The target of service outcomes obtained from this activity is to optimize the role of disaster resilient villages to reduce the risk of landslide disasters.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of skills is needed to face the challenge in 21st century. Many countries attempted to maneuver their education system based on critical thinking indicators. One of them is Philippines. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of critical thinking concept in elementary school was located in region Ilocos, Philippines. In this research, the descriptive qualitatif was used with the instrument is the researcher it self. The type of this research is classroom research which means that the data is natural without any action. To collect the data, researcher use observation, interview, and collect some important documentation. As a result of the study, there is implementation of critical thinking concept in learning process in elementary school, Philippines

Abstract

Educational leadership is the ability to drive the implementation of education, so that educational goals can be achieved effectively and efficiently. In fostering fraternity and being responsible for making decisions, developing, and maintaining the existence of an organization, the leadership function must play a role. Competition between SDITs in Bandung Regency, especially in Baleendah District, will have an impact on how the principal should be the captain in carrying out school leadership, as has been done by SDIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah. The focus of this research is the implementation of intrapreneurship educational leadership at SDIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah. This study aims to capture the leadership implementation carried out by the principal at SDIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. In the data collection technique, various techniques were used in this study, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis procedure used in this study was qualitative analysis. Based on the findings from the research results, it is concluded that the implementation of intrapreneurship educational leadership at SDIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah can be implemented and has a positive impact on the implementation of SDIT Al-Ihsan Baleendah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the  quiz team method with interactive media in enhancing the collaboration and student activity in aljabar material. This research is a classroom action research with 20 students as the research subjects. This study consisted of 2 cycles that each cycle has 2 times of meetings. The utilized instruments were questionnaire sheet, interview sheet, and observation sheet. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results of the analysis show that: 1) the  quiz team method assisted by effective interactive media to enhance  collaboration and student activity; 2) collaboration and student activity in the first cycle showed quite good categories with an average score of 2,50 and 2,35; 3) collaboration and student activity  in the second cycle showed good categories with an average score of 3,20 and 3,00.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve mastery of learning. One of the approaches used in the learning process is a thematic approach. This research uses classroom action research (PTK). The techniques used were data collection techniques using: (1) observation sheets (teachers and students), (2) test questions then analyzed using a percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that (1) the teacher activity in the first cycle with an average score of 2.91 in the sufficient category and in the second cycle the average score of 4.52 was in the very good category (2) the student activity in the first cycle with an average value of 2.86 was in the sufficient category and in the second cycle got an average value of 4.42 in the very good category. While student learning outcomes in the first cycle with a percentage value of 60.3%, and in the second cycle with a percentage value of 86.7%. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that with a thematic approach to the theme of Clean and Healthy Living can improve student learning outcomes in the class of SDN Kedungoleng 06.

Abstract

Pada mata kuliah Pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa di SD, mahasiswa tidak hanya dituntut untuk terampil dalam berbahasa Jawa dan tetapi juga harus terampil dalam mengajarkan Bahasa Jawa di SD. Untuk itu penilaian keterampilan merupakan komponen terpenting yang harus dilakukan oleh dosen untuk mengukur setiap detail keterampilan mahasiswa. Namun, kenyataannya penilaian dalam ranah ini belum dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian yang tepat, dosen masih melakukan proses penilaian secara langsung tanpa menggunakan instrumen sehingga penilaian lebih subjektif. Untuk itu, penelitian dan pengembangan produk instrumen penilaian keterampilan yang diintegrasikan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi perlu dilakukan. Instrumen penilaian produk berupa video desain pembelajaran bahasa Jawa yang dikembangkan dapat dijadikan solusi dan dapat dijadikan alternatif bagi dosen dalam melakukan proses penilaian keterampilan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa di SD. Penelitian pengembangan ini merujuk pada metode 4-D. Penelitian dimulai bulan Februari 2018 sampai November 2018. Data penelitian berupa hasil validasi. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan angket respons siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik validasi dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rubrik penilaian dari validator untuk kategori struktur rubik adalah 3,67 (sangat baik), kategori organisasi penulisan aspek dalam rubrik penilaian adalah 4 (sangat baik),  dan kategori bahasa adalah 4 (sangat baik). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rubrik penilaian dalam kategori baik dengan sedikit revisi dan dapat dapat digunakan.
