Abstract

Group to group exchange (GGE) is one of the cooperative learning models that emphasizes student-centered learning and requires students to exchange knowledge among groups. Implementation of GGE model in dance learning is not only done by imitating repetitive motion imitated by teacher (imitation), but students exchange knowledge both with their group and information obtained from other group. Research type descriptive research through qualitative approach by observing directly the process and learning outcomes muli siger dance using GGE cooperative learning model type. The results in this study indicate that the learning process undertaken by teachers using the GGE method is to conduct activities to form groups, dividing the different material realm in each group, then share knowledge to other groups or transfer knowledge, discussion, after that practice the movement with the group. Learning outcomes were measured using visual activity indicators, motor activities, and oral activities and with practice compliance tests.Group to group exchange (GGE) merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif  yang  mengedepankan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan menuntut siswa untuk saling bertukar pengetahuan antar kelompok. Penerapan model GGE dalam pembelajaran tari tidak hanya dilakukan dengan proses menirukan gerak yang dicontohkan secara berulang-ulang oleh guru (imitasi), namun siswa saling bertukar pengetahuan baik bersama kelompoknya maupun informasi yang didapat dari kelompok lain. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan guru menggunakan metode GGE yaitu dengan melakukan kegiatan membentuk kelompok, membagi ranah materi yang berbeda-beda disetiap kelompok, kemudian membagikan ilmu kepada kelompok lain atau menransfer ilmu, berdiskusi, setelah itu mempraktikkan gerak bersama kelompok. Hasil pembelajaran diukur dengan menggunakan indikator visual activities, motor activities, dan oral activities serta dengan tes pengamatan praktik.Kata kunci: metode kooperatif, group to group exchange, tari muli siger.
