Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan disiplin, motivasi dan semangat kerja guru dengan kemampuan mengajarkan bahasa Indonesia pada SMA Negeri  sekota Denpasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 24 orang. Data didapatkan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada responden, kemudian dianalisis dengan regresi sederhana, regresi ganda, dan korelasi ganda. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh beberapa temuan yaitu; (1)  terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara disiplin kerja guru dengan kemampuan guru mengajarkan bahasa Indonesia dengan kontribusi 35,0%; (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja guru dengan kemampuan guru mengajarkan bahasa Indonesia dengan kontribusi sebesar 36,5%; (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara semangat kerja guru dengan kemampuan guru mengajarkan bahasa Indonesia  dengan kontribusi sebesar 41,8%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini disiplin, motivasi dan semangat kerja guru berhubungan positif dengan kemampuan  mengajarkan bahasa Indonesia pada SMA Negeri  sekota Denpasar dengan kontribusi  57,5%.   Kata kunci : disiplin, motivasi, semangat kerja mengajarkan bahasa Indonesia       Abstract    This study was aimed at finding out the correlation between teacherâs discipline, teacherâs work motivation and teacherâs work ethic  and  teacherâs ability in teaching Indonesian at SMANs  throughout Denpasar This study was an expost facto research. The respondents were determined through  random sampling with a sample size of 24 Indonesian teachers of SMANs throughout Denpasar. The data were collected with questionnaires that were analyzed with simple regression, multiple regression and multiple correlation. On the basis of  the data analysis it was found that there was a significant correlation between teacherâs work discipline and teacherâs ability in teaching with 35.0% contribution; there was a significant correlation between teacherâs work motivation and teacherâs ability in teaching Indonesian  with 36.5% contribution; there was  a significant correlation between teacherâs work ethic and teacherâs ability in teaching Indonesian with 41.8% contribution; and there was a significant contribution between  teacherâs work discipline, teacherâs work motivation, teacherâs work ethics and teacherâs ability in teaching Indonesian with 57.5% contribution.   Keywords: discipline, motivation, work ethic in teaching Indonesian.
