GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN REMAJA TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN PENYEBARAN VIRUS COVID-19

Abstract

The emergence of the COVID-19 outbreak has caused many different reactions from the community, including the increasing number of recitations to pray to reject the corona virusoutbreak and an indifferent attitude because they do not believe in the disease so that they stillcarry out activities in crowded places or consider it a national holiday that is free to travelWhere have you been. Many residents do not know about COVID-19 and have not compliedwith COVID-19 prevention protocols in the form of washing hands with soap and runningwater, wearing masks, maintaining distance and avoiding crowds by staying at home. Thisresearch is a descriptive type of research with a cross-sectional design that aims to assesshow adolescents understand how to prevent the spread of covid-19 infection. This researchwas conducted at STIKes Mitra Husada Karanganyar by providing a questionnaire which wasconducted in June-August 2020. The level of knowledge of STIKes Miitra Husada Karanganyarstudents towards preventing the spread of covid-19 had moderate knowledge, namely 58%.The attitude of STIKes Mitra Husada Karanganyar students towards preventing the spread ofcovid-19 has moderate knowledge, namely 54%. The actions taken by STIKes Mitra HusadaKaranganyar students to prevent the spread of covid-19 have good knowledge, namely 76%.Students to further improve and update their specific knowledge about the prevention andspread of covid-19. Medical officers or teachers are expected to be able to provide knowledgeand education about the prevention and spread of covid-19 in the community.Keywords: Knowledge, Prevention of the spread of the covid virus 19ABSTRAKMunculnya wabah COVID-19 menimbulkan banyak reaksi yang berbeda- beda dari masyarakat diantaranya semakin ramainya pengajian-pengajian untuk berdoa menolak bala wabah viruscorona dan sikap acuh karena tidak percaya dengan penyakit tersebut sehingga masih melakukanaktivitas ditempat ramai atau menganggapnya sebagai libur nasional yang bebas bepergiankemana saja. Banyak warga yang belum mengetahui tentang COVID-19 dan belum mematuhiprotokol pencegahan COVID-19 berupa mencuci tangan dengan sabun dan air mengalir, memakaimasker, menjaga jarak dan menghindari kerumunan dengan tetap di rumah saja. Penelitian inimerupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan cross-sectional yang bertujuan untukmenilai Bagaiman pemahaman remaja terhadap pencegahan penyebaran infeksi virus covid19.Penelitian ini dilakukan di STIKes Mitra Husada Karanganyar dengan memberikan kuesioneryang dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2020. Tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa STIKesMiitra Husada Karanganyar terhadap pencegahan penyebaran covid-19 memiliki pengetahuanyang sedang yaitu sebesar 58%. Sikap mahasiswa STIKes Mitra Husada Karanganyar terhadappencegahan penyebaran covid-19 memiliki pengetahuan yang sedang yaitu sebesar 54%.Tindakan yang dilakukan mahasiswa STIKes Mitra Husada Karanganyar terhadap pencegahan MATERNAL VOL. V NO. 1 - APRIL 2021 P-ISSN: 2541-3120 E-ISSN: 2541-50857penyebaran covid-19 memiliki pengetahuan yang baik yaitu sebesar 76%. Mahasiswa untuklebih meningkatkan dan memperbaharui pengetahuan khusus nya mengenai pencegahan danpenyebaran covid-19. Petugas medis atau pengajar diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuandan edukasi mengenai pencegahan dan penyebaran covid-19 pada masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Pencegahan penyebaran virus covid 19
