<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPenderita diabetes mellitus di seluruh dunia mencapai 90%, sebagian besar disebabkan oleh kelebihan berat badan dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik. Stres dapat mempengaruhi pola hidup seorang penderita diabetes mellitus. Semakin stres maka kadar gula penderita diabetes mellitus penderita semakin tinggi. Penderita diabetes mellitus yang berobat ke Puskesmas Kebakkramat 1 sebanyak 178. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi sebesar 178 orang, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini adalah sebagian penderita diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Kebakkramat 1 sebesar 64 responden. Teknik pengolahan dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan antara tingkat stres dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Kebakkramat 1. Hasil analisis menunjukkan p value = 0,000. Terdapat hubungan tingkat stres dengan kadar gula darah pada penderita diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Kebakkramat 1, yaitu semakin tinggi stres penderita diabetes mellitus, maka semakin tinggi kadar gula darahnya atau tidak normal.
