Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the procedure of making and developing mahārah al-istimā’ based on Lectora Inspire media, and to know the validation result of media expert, material expert, teacher response and student response and the effectiveness of using mahārah al-istimā’based on Lectora Inspire media for students of Madrasah Aliyah Ulumuddin Lhokseumawe Aceh. This type of research is Research & Development by using the ADDIE development model that developed by Dick & Carry, a development model consisting of five stages including analysis, design, development, Implementation and evaluation. The result of the research is as follows: (a) The result of validation of media expert on mahārah al-istimā’ based on Lectora Inspire media obtained by percentage 81,82% with very good category, while the material expert validation result obtained 80% percentage with good category, B) The result of teacher's response to Mahārah al-istimā’ based on Lectora Inspire media obtained 94% percentage with very good category, whereas student response obtained 87,82% percentage with very good category, (c) The use of mahārah al-istimā’ based onLectora Inspire media is very effective in learning mahārah al- istimā’with the average pre-test score for students of Madrasah Aliyah Ulumuddin is 60.45 and an average post-test value is 85.06 with a significance value of p = 0,000 <0.05.
