UPAYA GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENGATASI KESULITAN BACA TULIS AL-QUR’AN BAGI SISWA SMP PGRI 4 KALIPARE DI ERA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of learning activities carried out online or online through the Whatsapp application due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak. This resulted in students at SMP PGRI 04 Kalipare, especially class VIII, experiencing difficulties in learning to read and write the Qur'an. The objectives of this study were: (1) to find out how the implementation of learning activities to read and write the Qur'an in class VIII SMP PGRI 04 Kalipare during the Corona virus outbreak. (2) knowing the factors that affect class VIII students when reading and writing the Qur'an during the Corona virus outbreak. (3) knowing the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers when teaching reading and writing the Qur'an for class VIII students at SMP PGRI 04 Kalipare during the Covid19 pandemic. This research method uses qualitative research methods with an ethnographic approach. The ethnographic research procedures include: (1) Researchers explore places or people that can be used as sources of data or research subjects; (2) Looking for a location that is deemed appropriate to the purpose of the research; and (3) Develop a wider network to find possible data sources. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made are for reading activities using the iqro' method with individual or sorogan, classical, and individual classical strategies. As for the writing method using the imla' method.Keywords: Islamic religion education teacher, reading and writing Qur'an, covid-19  Abstrak  Penelitian ini berdasar pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara online atau online melalui aplikasi Whatsapp akibat merebaknya virus Covid-19. Hal ini mengakibatkan siswa di SMP PGRI 04 Kalipare khususnya kelas VIII mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an di kelas VIII SMP PGRI 04 Kalipare pada masa wabah virus Corona. (2) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa kelas VIII saat membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an pada masa wabah virus Corona. (3) mengetahui upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam saat mengajar membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an untuk siswa kelas VIII di SMP PGRI 04 Kalipare selama pandemi Covid19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Prosedur penelitian etnografi meliputi: (1) Peneliti mengeksplorasi tempat atau orang yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber data atau subjek penelitian; (2) Mencari lokasi yang dianggap sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian; dan (3) Mengembangkan jaringan yang lebih luas untuk menemukan sumber data yang memungkinkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan adalah kegiatan membaca dengan menggunakan metode iqro' dengan strategi individual atau sorogan, klasikal, dan klasikal individual. Adapun metode penulisannya menggunakan metode imla'.Kata Kunci: Guru pendidikan agama Islam, membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an, covid-19
