HUBUNGAN BRAND IMAGE DENGAN LOYALITAS KONSUMEN PENGGUNA PRODUK PASTA GIGI MEREK PEPSODENT

Abstract

This study aims to lokk at the relationship between brand image and consumer loyalty using Pepsodent brand toothpaste. The design of this study is quantitative correlational with a population of 100 people. The study sample was taken using incidental sampling techniques, namely anyone  who uses Pepsodent brand toothpaste with an age range of 17-25 years. This study uses a brand image scale and consumer loyalty which consists of aspects according to the Griffin dan Aaker, Biel. The research hypothesis testing uses product moment analysis techniques which are analyzed using the SPSS 16.0 for windows application. The results showed that  rᵪᵧ=0.617 dan p=0.000 (p<0.01), which means that there is a very significant positive relationship between brand image and consumer loyalty using Pepsodent brand toothpaste. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara brand image dengan loyalitas konsumen pengguna pasta gigi merek pepsodent. Desain penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 100 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling incidental yaitu siapa saja yang menggunakan pasta gigi merek pepsodent dengan rentang usia 17-25 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala brand image dan loyalitas konsumen yang terdiri dari aspek menurut Griffin dan Aaker, Biel. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis product moment yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rᵪᵧ=0.617 dan p=0.000 (p<0.01), yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara brand image dengan loyalitas konsumen pengguna pasta gigi merek pepsodent.
