<![CDATA[Abstract: The relationship of sense of community with group cohesiveness in Batak tribe. This study aims to examine the sense of community relationship with group cohesiveness in the Batak tribe. The research method used is quantitative correlational. The subjects of this study were 31 Batak people living outside North Sumatra. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique type of accidental sampling. This research uses scale. The data analysis technique used was Karl Pearson's product moment correlation test with the help of SPSS version 16.0 statistical software. The correlation coefficient (r) obtained was 0.683 and p = 0.000 (p <0.01). So the results of this study are that there is a positive relationship between the sense of community and group cohesiveness in the Batak tribe.Keywords : Sense of community, group cohesiveness, Batak tribe.Abstrak: Hubungan sense of community dengan kohesivitas kelompok pada suku Batak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji hubungan sense of community dengan kohesivitas kelompok pada suku Batak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah individu suku Batak yang berdomisili di luar Sumatera Utara sebanyak 31 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling jenis accidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson dengan bantuan software statistik SPSS versi 16.0. Koefisien korelasi (r) yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 0,683 (nilai p=0,000 (p<0,01)).
