Latar belakang: Toilet training merupakan suatu usaha untuk melatih anak agar mampu mengontrol dalam melakukan buang air kecil dan buang air besar. Salah satu aspek perkembangan yang umum dalam periode toddler adalah pengajaran ke toilet, usia 18 bulan anak sudah mampu menahan kandung kemih. Perilaku toilet taining dipengaruhi beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah pola komunikasi keluarga.Pola komunikasi terdiri dari pola komunikasi fungsional dan pola komunikasi disfungsional.Tujuan: mengetahui Hubungan Pola Komunikasi Keluarga terhadap Keberhasilan Toilet Training Anak Usia Toddler di Posyandu Rindang Kenari 2Metode: metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei analitik melalui pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 82 anak dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi.. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil: uji chi square menunjukkan Nilai p = 0,000 α = 0,05 maka p α, sehingga Ha di terima dan Ho di tolak, artinya ada hubungan pola komunikasi keluarga terhadap keberhasilan toilet training pada anak usia toddler. Pola komunikasi keluarga yang fungsional akan meningkatan keberhasilan anak dalam melakukan toilet training.Simpulan: berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh bahwa pola komunikasi keluarga mempengaruhi keberhasilan toilet training pada anak usia toddlerKata kunci : Komunikasi, Toddler, Toilet TrainingBackground: Toilet training is a way to train children to be able to control their urination and defecation. Communication patterns consist of functional communication patterns and dysfunctional communication patterns.Objective: To know the effect of family communication patterns on the success of toilet training for toddlers at Posyandu Rindang Kenari 2Methods: The research method used is an analytic survey through a cross-sectional approach. The sample used in this study is 82 children. The sampling technique is total sampling, namely a sampling technique where the number of samples was the same as the population. This study uses the chi-square test.Results: the chi-square test shows the value of p = 0.000 α = 0.05, then p α, so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between family communication patterns on the success of toilet training in toddlers.
