Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti, yang ditandai dengan demam mendadak 2 sampai dengan 7 hari tanpa penyebab yang jelas, lemah/lesu, gelisah, nyeri ulu hati, disertai tanda perdarahan di kulit berupa bintik perdarahan (petechiae, lebam (echymosis) atau ruam (pura-pura). Kadang-kadang mimisan, berak darah, muntah darah, kesadaran menurun atau renjatan (Shock).  Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui hubungan sanitasi lingkungan dan peran jumantik terhadap kejadian DBD di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Kelurahan LabuhBaru Barat Kota Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif desain penelitian secara case Control. Penelitian dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Payung Sekaki Kelurahan Labuhbaru Barat pada Bulan Maret 2021- April 2021. Populasi (1 : 2) terdiri dari 34 Kasus dan 68 Kontrol. Pengambilan sample  teknik Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan cara menyebar kuesioner dan Observasi. Analisis yang digunakan Univariat dan bivariat dengan Uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%, α( alpha) <0,05 dan Proporsi Ods Ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara Peran Jumantik (p= 0,038) OR= 2.889, kawat kassa (p=0,035) OR =7.105 TPA (p= 0,042)OR= 2.648 dengan kejadian DBD. Saran meningkatkan mutu pelayanan di bidang informasi dan penyuluhan, untuk Stikes dapat menambah bahan bacaan tentang lingkungan, bagi Masyarakat untuk lebih peduli dan memperhatikan kegiatan pemberantasan DBD agar dapat mengurangi angka DBD di puskesmas Payung Sekaki.   Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by thevirus dengue and transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which is characterized by a sudden fever of 2 to 7 days without a clear cause, weakness/lethargy, restlessness, heartburn, accompanied by signs of bleeding. on the skin in the form of bleeding spots (petechiae, bruising ( echymosis ) or rash ( faking).
