Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektifitas fungsi Mediasi Penyelesaian Sengketa Atas Penolakan Komisi Pemilihan Umum terhadap Bakal Calon Anggota Legislatif oleh Bawaslu pada Pemilu Legislatif Tahun 2019 di Kabupaten Soppeng, dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan fungsi Mediasi Penyelesaian Sengketa Atas Penolakan Komisi Pemilihan Umum terhadap Bakal Calon Anggota Legislatif oleh Bawaslu pada Pemilu Legislatif Tahun 2019 di Kabupaten Soppeng. Jenis penelitian Normatif-Empiris, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Bahwa pelaksanaan fungsi Mediasi Penyelesaian Sengketa Atas Penolakan Komisi Pemilihan Umum terhadap Bakal Calon Anggota Legislatif oleh Bawaslu pada Pemilu Legislatif Tahun 2019 di Kabupaten Soppeng kurang efektif atau belum terlaksana secara optimal. 2) Bahwa terdapat empat faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan fungsi Mediasi Penyelesaian Sengketa Penolakan Komisi Pemilihan Umum terhadap Bakal Calon Anggota Legislatif oleh Bawaslu pada Pemilu Legislatif Tahun 2019 di Kabupaten Soppeng yaitu faktor substansi hukum, faktor sumber daya aparat penyelenggara, faktor peserta pemilu dan faktor budaya hukum masyarakat. The Research objective to analyze the effectiveness of the Dispute Settlement Mediation function on the General Election Commission's Rejection of Prospective Legislative Members by Bawaslu in the 2019 Legislative Election in Soppeng Regency, and to find out what factors influence the implementation of the Dispute Settlement Mediation function on the General Election Commission's Rejection. against Prospective Legislative Members by Bawaslu in the 2019 Legislative Election in Soppeng Regency. This type of research is Normative-Empirical, the results of the study show: 1) That the implementation of the Dispute Settlement Mediation function on the General Election Commission's Rejection of Prospective Legislative Members by Bawaslu in the 2019 Legislative Election in Soppeng Regency is less effective or has not been implemented optimally. 2) That there are four factors that influence the implementation of the Mediation function for the Dispute Resolution of the General Election Commission's Rejection of Prospective Legislative Members by Bawaslu in the 2019 Legislative Election in Soppeng Regency, namely the legal substance factor, the resource factor of the organizing apparatus, the election participant factor and the cultural factor. community law.
