MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PPKN DENGAN MODEL SQ3R

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, 1) Proses pembelajaran PPKn kelas VII E MTs N 7 Sleman dengan menggunakan model SQ3R. 2) Upaya meningkatkan prestasi belajar PPKn dengan model SQ3R siswa kelas VII E MTs N 7 Sleman tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian dilakukan di MTs N 7 Sleman pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019 dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII E MTs N 7 Sleman yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan Siklus Model spiral Kemmis dan Taggart yaitu rencana, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskripsi Kualitatif dan Kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa : 1) Proses pembelajaran PPKn kelas VII E MTs N 7 Sleman dengan menggunakan model SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Ricite, Review) terbukti dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar PPKn di kelas VII E MTs N 7 Sleman. 2) Prestasi pembelajaran ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Ricite, Review) di kelas VII E MTs N 7 Sleman. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata prestasi belajar PPKn siswa sebelum dilakukan tindakan yaitu 63,09 setelah siklus I prestasi belajar PPKn siswa menjadi 73,09 dan setelah siklus II prestasi belajar PPKn siswa meningkat menjadi 81,09.Kata kunci: Meningkatkan, Prestasi Belajar, PPKn, SQ3R. AbstractThis study aims to find out, 1) the learning process of PPKn class VII E MTs N 7 Sleman using the SQ3R model. 2) Efforts to improve PPKn learning achievement with the SQ3R model VII grade E MTs N 7 Sleman 2018/2019 academic year. The study was conducted at MTs N 7 Sleman in the 2018/2019 school  year with research subjects of class VII E MTs N 7 Sleman totaling 32 students. This research is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggart spiral model cycle, namely plan, action, observation and reflection. The method of data collection uses the techniques of observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses Qualitative and Quantitative descriptions. The results of the study concluded that: 1) The learning process of PPKn class VII E MTs N 7 Sleman by using the SQ3R model (Survey, Question, Read, Ricite, Review) was proven to improve PPKn learning achievement in class VII E MTs N 7 Sleman. 2) Learning achievement is enhanced through the application of the SQ3R model (Survey, Question, Read, Ricite, Review) in class VII E MTs N 7 Sleman. This is indicated by an increase in the average PPKn student achievement before the action is 63.09 after the first cycle of student PPKn learning achievement becomes 73.09 and after the second cycle student PPKn learning achievement increases to 81.09.Keywords: Improve, Learning Achievement, PPKn, SQ3R.
