<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe the transformation of the poetry Seribu Kunang-Kunang di Jakarta by Joko Pinurbo into the short film Seribu Kunang-Kunang di Jakarta, based on comparative literary study, as well as describing social criticism contained in the poetry and short film Seribu Kunang-Kunang di Jakart. In accordance with the objectives of the research, it is known that there are two problems in this study, namely, (1) How is the process of transformation of the poetry Seribu Kunang-Kunang di Jakarta by Joko Pinurbo into a short film? and (2) How is the social criticism contained in the poetry and short film of Seribu Kunang-Kunang di Jakarta?. The source of this research is the poetry Seribu Kunang-Kunang di Jakarta by Joko Pinurbo with the short film Seribu Kunang-Kunang di Jakarta which was directed by Anindya Erviana Madalina on the YouTube channel "Tomat Batam". The poetry only uses words and sentences in the delivery process while the film contains audio and visual as supporting materials, so that researchers will comparative literary study of the transformation of the two works, which will known about the changes in the form of addition, change, as well as other variations that presented during the transformation process. Assessment of the work is also carried out using sociology of literature in the form of social criticism of the reality that occurs in the work.]]>
