PERANCANGAN SINGLE FOLD HAIRPIN TYPE NARROW-BAND MICROSTRIP BAND PASS FILTER DENGAN T-SHAPE OPEN LINE STUB PADA SPESIFIKASI JARINGAN MID-BAND 5G TELKOMSEL

Abstract

ABSTRAKTeknologi seluler Fifth Generation (5G) merupakan lompatan besar dalam kecepatan untuk perangkat nirkabel karenamemberikan kecepatan data sebesar 10 hingga 100 kali lebih cepat dari jaringan 4G. Walaupun begitu terdapat suatukendala dalam komunikasi 5G yang perlu diperhatikan, yaitu adanya RF noise yang menggangu proses kerja 5G.Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perancangan Microstrip Band Pass Filter dengan jenis Single Fold Hairpin denganT-Shape Open Line Stub pada aplikasi jaringan Mid-band 5G Telkomsel. Desain Single Fold Hairpin type NarrowBand Microstrip Band Pass Filter dengan T-Shape Open Line Stub mengalami reduksi ukuran sebesar 29,70%dibandingkan dengan Microstrip Band Pass Hairpin Filter tanpa Single Fold Resonator dan T-shape Line Open Stub.Didapatkan juga Return Loss sebesar -53,786 dB, Insertion Loss sebesar -5,880 dB, serta Bandwidth ketika StopbandRejection sebesar -20 dB sebesar 329 MHz. Spurious Passband pada Single Fold Hairpin type Narrow-BandMicrostrip Band Pass Filter dengan T-Shape Line Stub dapat dihilangkan sepenuhnya, berbeda dengan MicrostripBand Pass Hairpin Filter tanpa Single Fold Resonator dan T-Shape Open Line Stub yang mengalami SpuriousPassband pada 1,095 – 1,164 GHz dengan total 69 MHz pada pengujian rentang frekuensi 1-3 GHz serta 1,095 –1,164 GHz dan 5,752 - 6 GHz dengan total 317 MHz pada pengukuran rentang frekuensi 1-6 GHz. Pada pengukuranhasil fabrikasi desain Microstrip Band Pass Filter dengan jenis Single Fold Hairpin dengan T-Shape Open Line Stubmengalami penurunan performansi pada kinerja filter namun memiliki hasil yang lebih baik daripada desain filtertanpa Single Folding dan T-Shape Line Open Stub. Even so, there is an obstacle in 5Gcommunication that needs to be considered, i.e. the presence of RF noise that interferes with the 5G workprocess. This study discusses the design of a Microstrip Band Pass Filter with the type of Single FoldHairpin with T-Shape Open Line Stub on the Mid-band 5G Telkomsel network application. The design ofSingle Fold Hairpin type Narrow-Band Microstrip Band Pass Filter with T-Shape Open Line Stubexperienced a size reduction of 29,70% compared to Microstrip Band Pass Hairpin Filter without SingleFold Resonator and T-shape Line Open Stub. The Return Loss of -53,786 dB, Insertion Loss of -5,880 dB,and -20 dB Stopband Rejection-Bandwidth of 329 MHz were also obtained. Spurious Passband on SingleFold Hairpin type Narrow-Band Microstrip Band Pass Filter with T-Shape Line Stub can be eradicated, incontrast to Microstrip Band Pass Hairpin Filter without Single Fold Resonator and T-Shape Open Line Stubwhich has Spurious Passband at 1,095 – 1,164 GHz with a total of 69 MHz in the test frequency range of1-3 GHz and 1,095 – 1,164 GHz and 5,752 - 6 GHz with a total of 317 MHz in the measurement of thefrequency range of 1-6 GHz. In the measurement of the fabrication results, the Microstrip Band Pass Filterdesign with the Single Fold Hairpin type with T-Shape Open Line Stub has decreased performance in filterperformance but has better results than the filter design without Single Folding and T-Shape Line OpenStub.
