EFEKTIVITAS DISKUSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN PERILAKU SEKSUAL SISWA

Abstract

Abstract: The research was motivated by students' understanding of low sexual behavior such as children who do not yet have an understanding of forms of free sex behavior, and lack of knowledge of the types of diseases caused by free sex. The research was conducted on eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 5 Serang. The study with quasi-experimental research techniques and nonequivalent group design because the researchers intended to see a picture of students' sexual behavior by comparing their understanding of students' sexual behavior. The technique of collecting sexual data is using a behavioral understanding questionnaire. The results of the post-test showed that the subjects found that 6 students experienced an increase in scores in the high category and 3 students experienced an increase in the medium category. The post-test value is greater than the pre-test score (22.3>6.7) with a gain of 15.6. That is, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this research is that the discussion technique is effective to increase students' understanding of sexual behavior. As a recommendation, Guidance and Counseling teachers can apply group guidance discussion techniques to increase students' understanding of sexual behavior.Keywords: Understanding; sexual behavior; discussion techniquesAbstrak: Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pemahaman siswa terhadap perilaku seksual yang rendah seperti anak belum memiliki pemahaman terhadap bentuk- bentuk perilaku seks bebas, kurangnya pengetahuan anak terhadap jenis-jenis penyakit yang ditimbulkan oleh perilaku seks bebas. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII di MTs Negeri 5 Serang. Penelitian teknik penelitian quasi-eksperimen dan desain nonequivalen group design karena peneliti bermaksud melihat gambaran perilaku seksual siswa melihat perbandingan pemahaman perilaku seksual siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket pemahaman perilaku seksual. Hasil posttest menunjukkan subjek yang berjumlah 6 siswa mengalami kenaikan skor ke kategori tinggi dan 3 siswa mengalami kenaikan ke kategori sedang. Nilai post-test lebih besar dibandingkan nilai pre-test (22,3>6,7) dengan selisih (gain) sebesar 15,6. Artinya, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah teknik diskusi efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap perilaku seksual. Sebagai rekomendasi guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dapat menerapkan bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap perilaku seksual.Kata kunci: Pemahaman; Perilaku seksual; Teknik diskusi.
