<![CDATA[This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of the application of the Think-Pair-Share Learning Model and Independent Learning on Student Learning Outcomes in Economics Class XI Social Studies Subjects of SMA Negeri 1 Academic Year 2022/2023 Year in Siantar Simalungun Regency. This research category refers to research that is quantitative in nature and uses pseudo- experimental design to adopt an experimental approach in the data collection process. Data collection for this study was carried out by purposive sampling method. For the purposes of this study, there are a total of 70 students enrolled in class XI social studies of SMA Negeri 1 Siantar in Simalungun Regency during the 2022/2023 school year. There are two experimental programs, and the sample size for each of those classes is 35 individuals. This resulted in a total sample size of 70 students. The method of data collection involves conducting observations, tests and surveys, in addition to maintaining detailed documentation. To generate the data, we used pre- tests, post-tests, and questionnaires all intended to determine the level of learning independence. Hypothesis testing through the use of multiple linear regression tests, t tests, f tests, and determination coefficient tests. The findings suggest that there is an influence of a learning paradigm known as Think Pair Share on student academic performance outcomes. The findings of the f test conducted by the researchers provide evidence for this statement. More specifically, the fact that f count (6.521) is higher than f table at a significant rate of 5% (3.131) indicates that hypothesis H1 is accepted whereas hypothesis H0 is rejected. The results showed that there was an influence on student learning outcomes in economics subjects class XI social studies SMA Negeri 1 Siantar which can be related to the Think Pair Share learning approach and students' independent learning ability. This influence was discovered as a result of the studies conducted.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Model Pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share dan Belajar Mandiri terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 Tahun di Kabupaten Siantar Simalungun. Kategori penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian yang bersifat kuantitatif dan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu untuk mengadopsi pendekatan eksperimental dalam proses pengumpulan data. Pengumpulan data untuk penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Untuk keperluan penelitian ini, ada total 70 siswa yang terdaftar di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Siantar di Kabupaten Simalungun selama tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Ada dua program eksperimen, dan ukuran sampel untuk masing- masing kelas tersebut adalah 35 individu. Ini menghasilkan total ukuran sampel 70 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan melakukan observasi, pengujian, dan survei, di samping menyimpan dokumentasi rinci. Untuk menghasilkan data, kami menggunakan pre- test, post-test, dan kuesioner yang semuanya dimaksudkan untuk menentukan tingkat kemandirian belajar. Pengujian hipotesis melalui penggunaan uji regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji f, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh paradigma pembelajaran yang dikenal sebagai Think Pair Share terhadap hasil kinerja akademik siswa. Temuan uji f yang dilakukan peneliti memberikan bukti untuk pernyataan ini. Lebih khusus lagi, fakta bahwa f hitung (6,521) lebih tinggi dari f tabel pada tingkat signifikan 5% (3,131) menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis H1 diterima sedangkan hipotesis H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Siantar yang dapat dikaitkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Think Pair Share serta kemampuan belajar mandiri siswa.
