HUBUNGAN ANTARA DISIPLIN BELAJAR, MOTIVASI BELAJAR, DAN GAYA BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 4 PEMATANG SIANTAR T.A 2022/2023

This study aims to determine the relationship between learning discipline, learning motivation and learning styles to the social studies learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023. This type of research is a quantitative study with the total population of all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023, which is 158 students. Using the Slovin formula, a total sample of 113 students was randomly taken. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires consisting of learning discipline questionnaires, motivation questionnaires and learning style questionnaires as well as documentation in the form of daily test scores of students of SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar. The data analysis techniques used to test hypotheses are simple correlation analysis and double correlation, and significant tests using t-tests and F- tests. The results showed that: (1) There was a positive and significant relationship between learning discipline and student social studies learning outcomes with rhitung values = 0.990 and rtabel = 0.185, rhitung rtabel at the level of 5% and n = 113 and obtained thitung = 7.442 and ttabel = 1.98, calculate ttabel at a level of 5%. (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and student social studies learning outcomes with rhitung = 0.991 and rtabel = 0.185, rhitung rtabel at the level of 5% and n = 113 and obtained thitung = 8.030 and ttabel = 1.98, thitung ttabel at the level of 5%. (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning styles and social studies learning outcomes of students with rhitung = 0.988 and rtabel = 0.185, rhitung rtabel at the level of 5% and n = 113 and obtained thitung = 6.727 and ttabel = 1.98, thitung ttabel at the level of 5%. (4) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning discipline and learning motivation and learning styles together with student social studies learning outcomes with a value of Rx1x2y = 0.999 and rtabel = 0.14, rhitung rtabel at the level of 5% and n = 113 and obtained Fhitung = 9.17 and Ftabel = 2.69, Fhitung Ftabel at a level of 5%.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan disiplin belajar, motivasi belajar dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini dalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023 yaitu sebanyak 158 siswa. Dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 113 siswa yang diambil secara acak. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket yang terdiri dari angket disiplin belajar, angket motivasi dan angket gaya belajar serta dokumentasi berupa nilai ulangan harian siswa SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis korelasi sederhana dan  korelasi ganda, dan  uji signifikan menggunakan uji-t dan uji-F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara disiplin belajar dan hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan nilai rhitung = 0,990 dan rtabel = 0,185, rhitung rtabel pada taraf 5% dan n=113 serta diperoleh thitung = 7,442 dan ttabel = 1,98, thitung ttabel pada taraf 5%. (2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan nilai rhitung = 0,991 dan rtabel = 0,185, rhitung rtabel pada taraf 5% dan n=113 serta diperoleh thitung = 8,030 dan ttabel = 1,98, thitung ttabel pada taraf 5%. (3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya belajar dan  hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan nilai rhitung = 0,988 dan rtabel = 0,185, rhitung rtabel pada taraf 5% dan n=113 serta diperoleh thitung = 6,727 dan ttabel = 1,98, thitung ttabel pada taraf 5%. (4) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara disiplin belajar dan motivasi belajar dan  gaya belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan nilai Rx1x2y = 0,999 dan rtabel = 0,14, rhitung rtabel pada taraf 5% dan n=113 serta diperoleh Fhitung = 9,17 dan Ftabel = 2,69, Fhitung Ftabel pada taraf 5%.
