The purpose of this study is to see the extent of the Influence of Learning Methods Learning Start with a Question on Student Interest and Learning Achievement of Integrated Social Studies Subjects Class VII SMP Negeri 10 Pematang Siantar Academic Year 2022/2023, with quantitative research types. Quantitative research methods can be interpreted as research methods used to research on a particular population or sample. The population in this study was 196 with a total sample of 52 obtained by purposive sampling technique. The population and research sample were grade VII students at SMP Negeri 10 Pematang Siantar. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results of this study concluded that (1) there was a significant influence between LSQ learning methods on the interest in learning obtained linear regression equations with a value: -9.81327 and b : 1.056885 or Y=-9.81327 + 1.056885. From the regression equation above, it can be interpreted that, if the value of the LSQ method (X) increases by 1, the value of students' interest in learning (Y1) will increase by 1.056885. (2) And the significant influence of the LSQ method on learning achievement obtained a linear regression equation with the values a = 3.782094 and b = 0.956343 Or Y = 3.782094 + 0.956343 , it can be interpreted that if the value of the LSQ method (X) increases by 1, then the student's learning achievement score (Y2) will increase by 0.956343. (3) As well as the relationship between interest (Y1) and learning achievement (Y2) Based on the results of research conducted with a simple correlation analysis, a result of rxy = -0.02367 was obtained. This shows that these results are not included in the table of correlation coefficient criteria, so it is concluded that there is a negative relationship between interest and learning achievement.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauhmana Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Learning Start with a Question Terhadap Minat dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Mata Pelajaran IPS Terpadu Kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Pematang Siantar Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023, dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dapat diartikan sebagai metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 196 dengan jumlah sampel 52 diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Populasi dan sampel penelitian yaitu siswa/siswi kelas VII di SMP Negeri 10 Pematang Siantar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran LSQ terhadap minat belajar diperoleh persamaan regresi linear dengan nilai a : -9.81327 dan b : 1.056885 Atau Y=-9.81327 + 1.056885. Dari persamaan regresi diatas dapat diartikan bahwa, bila nilai metode LSQ (X) bertambah 1, maka nilai minat belajar (Y1) siswa akan bertambah sebesar 1.056885. (2) Dan pengaruh yang signifkan metode LSQ terhadap prestasi belajar diperoleh persamaan regresi linear dengan nilai a = 3.782094 dan b = 0.956343 Atau Y = 3.782094 + 0.956343 , dapat diartikan bahwa bila nilai metode LSQ (X) bertambah 1, maka nilai prestasi belajar (Y2) siswa akan bertambah sebesar 0.956343.(3) Serta hubungan antara minat (Y1) dan prestasi belajar (Y2) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan analisis korelasi sederhana diperoleh hasil sebesar rxy = -0.02367. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil tersebut tidak termasuk kedalam tabel kriteria koefisien korelasi maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negative antara minat dengan prestasi belajar.
