Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil analisis penerapan pendekatan open-ended dan seberapa besar pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kepustakaan atau Library Research dan data yang digunakan meruupakan data sekunder. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Digital Library Universitas Negeri Medan selama bulan Oktober-Desember 2021. Peneliti memilih dan mereduksi 8 jurnal sebagai sumber literatur atau referensi yang terkait dengan penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis diperoleh bahwa berrdasarkan jurnal penelitian, pendekatan open-ended dalam pembelajaran matematika mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematika siswa. dan berdasarkan jurnal penelitian eksperimen pendekatan open-ended berpengaruh positif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran langsung dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Adapun rata-rata nilai effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,74 yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang Kata kunci: Pendekatan Open-Ended, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis, Proses Jawaban SiswaABSTRACT This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of the application of an open-ended approach in improving students' mathematical creative thinking skills. This type of research is qualitative research with library research research methods and the data used are secondary data. This research was conducted at the Digital Library of Medan State University during September-December 2021. Researchers selected and reduced 8 journals as sources of literature or references related to this research. Based on the results of research and analysis, it is found that the application of the open-ended approach can improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills, and based on the results of research journals the open-ended approach has a positive effect compared to ordinary learning in increasing thinking creative thinking skills.
