Abstract

This paper is aimed to investigate a direct instruction model using a numberline tape model in mathematics subjecting integer counting operations, due totncrease active participation of elementary school students. The using method of thispaper is case study of students at the State Elementary School 4 of Banteran UPKSumbang. The data analyzes of this paper is descriPT.ive of qualitative analyzed.According of the interview and data analyzes, sourcing from literature or boola, itcan be concluded that the application ofdirect instruction model of using numbel linetape may increasing the student active participate in learning activity especially atthe integer counting operations.
